San Joaquin County (CA)

San Joaquin County Scanner Information
From N5FDL:
The big things that are happening in the county is the gradual shift to P25 for law enforcement agencies (on UHF) and the move by fire agencies to narrowband VHF frequencies. There has long been a plan to move all public safety agencies in the county to UHF, but that does not seem to be moving forward very quickly.
The odd-numbered channels are north county and the even-numbered channels are south county.

San Joaquin County Hospitals
What may not be obvious is that the hospital/ambulance radio system, on the Med channels, is duplex. There are no repeaters and, as a result, the mobiles can be difficult to hear.
San Joaquin General, as the base hospital, has two remote receiver locations, that supposedly allow it to hear units calling countywide.
