HT1000
Basic, very rugged and durable Public Safety radio. Comes in 2, 8, and 16 channel versions on the VHF, UHF and 800 bands.

Similar to the HT1000, but can have front-key pad programmable key installed so one does not have to have the RSS (Radio Service Software) or the RIB (Radio Interface Box) normally required to program Motorola radios. Some "GOVT" models do not require a programming key.

Higher-end than the HT1000 or JT1000. Add "Flashcode" upgrading for options. To find what options a radio might have, goto the Flashcode Decoder. Typical flashcodes include MDC and trunking (Type II - SmartZone or SmartNet).
