Special Area 4 County (AB)

Special Area 4 is a region of east-central Alberta, similar to a county, but with no local government; it is run by the Special Affairs Board in the capital city of Edmonton. It is bordered by Flagstaff County, the Municipal District of Provost, and the Regional Municipality of Heart's Hill (in Saskatchewan) to the north; Paintearth County and Special Area 2 to the west; Special Area 3 to the south; and the Regional Municipality of Milton (in Saskatchewan) and the Regional Municipality of Antelope Park (in Saskatchewan) to the east.
