Alachua County P25 User ID's
Many modern scanners, such as the Uniden SDS200, support displaying the User ID's. You can program the user ID's into the scanner (I use ProScan) and customize the "Display Options" to display the "Unit ID Name" instead of "Unit ID". This will allow you to see the units that are actually talking! Keep in mind that many units may have more than one radio (each radio has it's own unit ID), creating multiple ID's for each unit (mobile, portables).
