The majority of stations in Annapolis county are dispatched by Valley Communications ("Valley Dispatch").

In addition to each station having their own repeater, stations can also operate with each other and their dispatching provider through the Nova Scotia Integrated Mobile Radio System "DND" fire repeater located near Bridgetown, the Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island Trunked Radio (P25) "west" talkgroups, and the provincial mutual aid VHF simplex frequency 153.83
