The tv camera men wear headsets but they are believed to be wired since I never heard any radio transmissions from them.  I have been to a Illini soccer game and Illini volleyball game covered by the Big Ten Network, but never have heard any Big Ten Network radio activity at either of those two events.

Launched in 2007, the Big Ten Network carries many live Big Ten sporting events throughout the year. Football games that are not covered by ESPN, ABC or another network are often carried on the Big Ten Network.

2008 frequencies found at the University of Illinois softball game 4/16/2008:

  • 462.1375 DCS244 coordinating coach interviews between innings
  • 463.5875 DCS244 mentioned "scoreboard clock"
  • 462.2250 DCS244 found by CloseCall Auto Store but never personally verified

The tv camera men wear headsets but they are believed to be wired since I never heard any radio transmissions from them.
