Channel Line Up

As of 10/2016, the Metro North adjusted their channel line up, and are officially displayed as follows:

Channel 1 - 160.950 AAR056 "1-HUDSON"
Channel 2 - 161.290 AAR078 "2-HARLEM"
Channel 3 - 160.545 AAR029 "3-NHAVN W"
Channel 4 - 160.335 AAR015 "4-NHAVN E"
Channel 5 - 161.040 AAR062 "5-ALL YARDS"
Channel 6 - 160.770 AAR044 "6-L TALK"
Channel 7 - 160.335 AAR0   "7-TUNNEL"
Channel 8 - 160.410 AAR0   "8-MOW"
Channel 9 - 161.160 AAR0   "9-MOW NH"

Channel 7 is used for Park Ave Tunnel emergencies.

Channel 8 is used on all lines except the New Haven Line, which uses Channel 9. The Power Director, Communications & Signal and other departments may be heard on these channels. The Radio Shop can be heard, but also operates on their own encrypted NXDN radio system.
