Per an Arkansas Gazette newspaper article from Sept 8, 2023 (1), the HSNP LE Rangers are now dispatched primarily by the City of Hot Springs Police Department. They have been found on the HSPD Dispatch/Patrol TG (18492) on AWIN. They are identified as 8xx units, and tend to use NATO Phonetic Alphabet (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, ... ) instead of the Arkansas Standard Law Enforcement Phonetic Alphabet ( Adam, Boy, Charles, David, ... ). They are in the clear as is all traffic normally on that TG and do not have a dedicated, separate dispatcher. To a casual observer, they would seem to be just a different class of HSPD units on the TG as 1xx units are regular HSPD patrol units.

The 166.660 frequency was dispatched by Midwest Regional Ozark Communications Center (MROCC) in Harrison, AR, which was some 120 miles way.
