Transport (ALS) units are designated with the unit number and a "1" or "2" in front of that unit number. "1" is used for day shift units (0630-1830) and "2" is for night shift units (1830-0630.) Day shift units are 101 through 114, and night shift units are 201 through 214. Quick Response units are designated as "medic" and are numbered one through five. Rescue units are designated as "rescue" and are numbered one through three.
