10/23/07 - A story in the Galesburg Register Mail on Saturday says the Sheriff's Department is applying for a grant for 20 handheld Starcom21 portable radios. I posted recently that they were testing on the usual TG20, and apparently they discovered the SC21 radios fill in gaps in three places on their VHF high system (155.535, 136.5).
