General Information

The Maryland Air National Guard's 175th Wing is based at MArtin State Airport, Maryland and has two flying Squadrons, the 104th Fighter Squadron and the 135th Airlift Squadron. The 121st FS is equipped with the A-10 Warthog aircraft. The 135th Airlift Squadron flys the Lockheed C-130J Hercules. If the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Committee's recommendation are approved by Congress, the 135th AS will lose all of its C-130J aircraft to other ANG flying units.
