The MPA's were a flagship radio for GE/Ericcson and now MaCom. They were available in VHF, UHF, amd 800MHz. They are known to be very rugged, quite large, and have excellent audio.

There was some HAM Flash firmware written for these radios that allows them to be keypad programmable.
