McCook County Radio Traffic Guide
McCook County is dispatched in part by the[Mitchell Police Department under the call sign 8-2]. 8-2 dispatches all of McCook counties 911 calls and all Fire and EMS departments. McCook County Sherrifs Office does also use the State of South Dakota State Radio Dispatch in Pierre, SD. McCook County Sheriff uses the State Radio dispatch mainly for their traffic stops.
