Misc System Information

9/8/08 - It has been reported that all of St. Charles County will be converting to a digital system by 2010.

http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/applServiceSpecific.jsp?applID=5036859

Appears to be a simulcast system, unsure if this will be part of the same system (ID 1CE) as St Louis City.
Or it may be part of the STARRS system http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=1085
BUT, the STARRS system may end up being part of the St Louis City P25 System too.

On behalf of the 700 MHz Region 24 Regional Planning Committee (RPC), this letter provides
concurrence from the RPC for the requested 700 MHz application and subsequent system implementation

as user with the City of OFallon, Missouri. The Regional Planning Committee has reviewed the application
and its technical characteristics and found it acceptable and consistent with Region 24 700 MHz planning.
We encourage St Charles County to remain cognizant of the rules for 700 MHz coordination as their
system continues to develop and interface with other area systems. We look forward to working with St
Charles County government and others on this and other initiatives.
