Agencies not using the system for primary communications are City of Dayton, City of Oakwood, New Lebanon Fire, and Phillipsburg Fire. Plans are in the works for a fully digital system to replace the current system within the next 5 years. This system completed rebanding in March 2012.

The Montgomery County, Ohio Trunked Radio System is an analog Motorola Smartnet system that provides countywide coverage from 6 Sites. All county agencies utilize the system. Agencies not using the system for primary communications are City of Dayton, City of Oakwood, New Lebanon Fire, and Phillipsburg Fire. Plans are in the works for a fully digital system to replace the current system within the next 5 years. This system completed Rebanding in March 2012.
