The same scanner as the Uniden BCT-8 but with silver colored control panel (like all other newer Radio Shack scanners). It has one feature that it is not found on the BCT-8 that is Signal Stalker™ (identical to Uniden's Close Call™ feature) RF Capture Technology - Instantly tunes to signals from nearby transmitters.
