The Pro-96 was manufactured for Radio Shack by GRE America Inc

The Radio Shack is a Digital Trunk Tracking scanner which boasts the ability to track APCO 25 digital trunking systems, in addition to following Motorola type I/II systems and EDACS trunking systems. Other features include:

  • TCXO for frequency stability
  • Computer Programming (not computer control)
  • Latest CPU firmware version is 1.4 (hardware upgrade from 1.3 only) - To check firmware numbers: Turn on the scanner and hold down the 3 button, the latest display should read:
