Shelburne County RCMP are dispatched by the RCMP OCC Located in Truro via the [Maritime Public Safety Radio Network (MPSRN)]. Some also have access to legacy VHF systems.

Fire Departments in Shelburne County are primarily dispatched by various private dispatch centers via their respective VHF dial in systems while some have a secondary alert via text message.
