O'fallon Police are now actively using their new system. Sounds very good. Have not heard much of the streets department traffic or PD Channel Two being used much as of yet. System went fully operational 12-21-09 around 1400 hrs.

1. 10715 will be the O'Fallon, MO / Street Department Division

2. The street crews system is operational and allowed to use the new trunked system, however as of today no traffic has been heard on it. They continue to use the 155.895 radio.

3. The O'Fallon Police Department will be moving their dispatch to the new dispatcher room today. This transition will get them ready for next week which brings me to #4.

4. The O'Fallon Police will be switching to the trunked system next week.

5. Only the O'Fallon Police will have hand held radios, other departments within the city will only have in car systems at this time.

6. There has been no mention as to if the O'Fallon Police are allowed on other towers/systems at this time. There was a request entered, nothing confirmed at this point.

St Louis City Fire Emergency Medical Services (EMS) switched over from the 800 system to the P-25 digital system at 5:00 am, Thursday, 06/18/09

Police appear to be nearly 100% on P25 system now. Fire, EMS, Public Works and other misc. agencies are still on the old system.

SLMPD will begin using this system (again) around March 2, 2009. This is NOT an exact date.

Radios are currently in the process of being reprogrammed. It has been said that the previous issues have been taken care of.

SLMPD will start going back to the P25 system starting tomorrow morning (10/20/08) - Dist 3 at 5:00am Monday morning. Dist 1 & 2 at 5:00am on Tuesday morning; Central Patrol at 5:00am on Thursday morning; and North Patrol at 5:00am on Next Monday.

Next week, CPD (dist 4 & 5 and Dist 9) comes on-board on Monday. Tuesday NPD (dist 6 & 8 and dist 7) comes on-board. Then EMS & possibly FIRE. Then on Thurs next week everybody else comes on-board. (City services)
