The legacy Passport system currently has two networked sites, the main site in Akron (WPRU679) and a site at UA-Medina County University Center in Medina (WQJB561).  The Passport site in Akron currently uses some combination of the 10 highest numbered frequencies on the WPRU679 license.

Based upon a report received in Jan 2018, the old UAkron LTR Passport system has been decommissioned and the new NXDN system is 100% complete and all three sites active.

Based upon a report received in Jan 2018, the old UAkron LTR Passport system has been decommissioned and the new NXDN system is 100% complete and all three sites active.

The NXDN System/Network ID is 83. The Akron NXDN site is Site 1 (RAN 1).
