All public service agencies in Sangamon County are dispatched under the Sangamon County Central Dispatch System (SCCDS), with a few exceptions. Auburn, the backup PSAP for Sangamon County Dispatches its own police, fire & EMS. Chatham, Lincoln Land Community College and Pawnee dispatch their own police. Communications at SCCDS are divided into three groups:
