The WSP no longer has 7 districts. The agency, along with WisDOT, has been re-organized. WSP is now organized into 5 regions, as listed below. What were the District HQ's are now addressed as a "Post" by what region it is in, and what city it's located in. Southeast Region - Waukesha Post Southwest Region - DeForest Post & Tomah Post Northeast Region - Fond du Lac Post North Central Region - Wausau Post Northwest Region - Eau Claire Post & Spooner Post ----- Region boundaries (by county) for WSP and DOT have changed quite a bit also, and are now the same for both agencies. Southeast Region: Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha Southwest Region: All of the old D1 plus Dodge, Juneau, Monroe, LaCrosse, Vernon, Richland and Crawford Northeast Region: FDL, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Calumet, Winnebago, Outagamie, Brown, Kewaunee, Door, Oconto, Marinette North Central Region: Adams, Marquette, Green Lake, Waushara, Wood, Portage, Waupaca, Marathon, Shawano, Price, Lincoln, Langlade, Menominee, Oneida, Forest, Iron, Vilas and Florence Northwest Region: Buffalo, Trempealeau, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Eau Claire, Clark, St. Croix, Dunn, Chippewa, Taylor, Polk, Barron, Rusk, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer, Douglas, Bayfield and Ashland ----- * WSP Communications follow what the old district assignments were: Waukesha was D2 DeForest was D1 Tomah was D5 Fond du Lac was D3 Wausau was D4 Eau Claire was D6 Spooner was D7 * DOT has very little of its UHF radio network remaining. Most UHF operations remaining are simplex. Other comms are on cellular.
