The majority of stations in Yarmouth County are dispatched by Yarmouth Control.
In addition to each station having their own VHF repeater, stations can also operate with each other and their dispatching provider through the Nova Scotia Integrated Mobile Radio System fire repeater located at East Kemptville, the Aliant Trunked Mobile Radio System (TMRS) talkgroups "EO-W1" through "EO-W4", and the provincial mutual aid VHF simplex frequency 153.83
Ambulance
Ambulance services are provided by Emergency Health Services (EHS). Communications are on the EHS "West 2" talkgroup on the Aliant Trunked Mobile Radio System (TMRS).
