Posts

  • Central Post is located at North State St. and James St.
  • Station One is Syracue Fire's Station 1 at State St. and East Adams St.
  • East Post is the Dollar General Plaza at 2922 East Genesee St.
  • West Post is the Westvale Plaza in Solvay
  • North Post is 7th North St. and Buckley Road in Salina

Ideally one BLS and one ALS ambulance will hold at a post, however with staffing and logistical complications this is a rarity.

Radio Codes

  • AMR has moved to mostly plain language, however some 10-codes/Signals still are in use

98 Minor Fire/Working outdoor, car fire
99 Structure Fire (Standard for an ambulance to be dispatched for rehab and assistance)


Responses:

  • Hot Response Lights/Sirens, priority
  • Cold Response No Lights/Sirens, non life threatening

AMR Provies EMS services to Syrause, Dewitt, Salina, and Solvay along with mutual aid across Onondaga County and the surronding area.

"Mobile Status" refers to being available on the air but not assigned to any particular Post.

"Level #" refers to the number of ambulances available
