Bay County Emergency Medical Services
On October 1, 2013 the E.M.S. services for Bay County, Florida were transitioned from Bay Medical Center E.M.S. to Bay County E.M.S., a division of Bay County Emergency Services. Bay County E.M.S. stations seven 24-hour A.L.S. ambulances throughout the county, one 12-hour peak-time A.L.S. ambulance, one A.L.S. quick response vehicle (Q.R.V.), and two A.L.S. Q.R.V. supervisors.

Lifeguard Ambulance Service of Bay County
Lifeguard Ambulance Service of Bay County is a full-service Advanced Life Support E.M.S. service who performs non-emergency E.M.S. services within Bay County. Lifeguard Ambulance is dispatched through a centralized dispatch center through Nextel style cellular telephones, and so cannot be monitored. Communications between Lifeguard Ambulance Service and the local hospitals can be heard on MED-12 and MED-52.

Bay County Schools Districts
As Summer of 2015 All County Schools and Buses are moving to DMR. Some schools are still on analog expect for 2-3 schools have gone to DMR Sometime in 2018/19 all schools be moved to DMR. The Buses and Maintenance has moved to DMR. Looks like the Schools repeater is stronger signal instead 2-3 miles radius. Appears they are using color code 1 & TalkGroup 1 according to the DSDPlus program. So far there is No Encryption being used. So far since DMR was released to the public All Schools and Buses use TalkGroup 1 Color 1. Some schools use slot 1 or 2. Buses uses Slot 1 for Channel 1 Slot 2 for Channel 2. Buses have 3 Freq's 453.375-In Town Ch 464.325-North Ch 464.000-West Ch patched together. Elementary & Middle Schools use Slot 1 High Schools use Slot 2.
