Connecticut CMED (CT)

From The RadioReference Wiki

Statewide

Statewide CMED channels have a PL of 210.7

Region 1 (Southwest)

Region 1 PL is 123.0

The lineup below is the most common usage of the channels for Southwest. The modules in the consoles allow for some additional flexibility in channel usage. For example, one of the Bridgeport modules can be changed from MED 3 to MED 1 and a dispatcher can assign a unit patching in the Bridgeport area MED 1 to talk to Bridgeport Hospital or SVMC, it is unusual though. While units patching are typically close to the hospital they are transporting to and get assigned the patch channel for that area, if a unit in the Bridgeport area needed to talk to Norwalk Hospital they would likely be assigned MED 3 or 8, for example. Patch channels also have the repeaters turned off most of the time so you need to listen to the input side to hear the ambulance. Repeaters can be enabled if a major incident needs the extra channel for coordination without interfering with the other routine traffic.
