All emergency calls are received and dispatched by the Dearborn County Communications Center. Dearborn County also dispatches Sunman Fire/EMS, Milan Fire, and Friendship Fire from Ripley County. Harrison Fire/EMS from Hamilton County Ohio cover the north west area. Whitewater and Miami Township are often dispatched for mutual aid.
