- Point 19 - OVI (Name comes from applicable section of the Ohio Revised Code, 4511.19
- Delaware County EMS uses "Signal 27" for an emergency response to the hospital (lights/sirens). Same situation with "Code 16 time please", pronouncing a person deceased.
- Signal O - Last fire department unit is leaving the scene.
- ETOH on board - Discreet way for FD/EMS to tell somebody that the patient is under the influence of alcohol.
- Level 1 - Refers to Level One Staging. Basically tells other units to stay out on a main road until called upon. Used to prevent bottlenecking of apparatus in a confined space such as a dead end street.

Delaware Area Response Team
DART is a HAZMAT Response team that combines all of the county fire departments and Delaware County EMS.Each Township/City is responsible for different equipment that is vital to DART's HAZMAT Operations.For example Genoa Township is responsible for Decon "Decontamination".Below is a list of whos responsible for what.
