On the Personnel portion some departments have it set up for example Black forest, 791Alpha or 791Charlie, each department is different in this area but it usually is Delta is just an observer or outside fire attack only, Charlie is Fire only personal, Bravo is Medical (Paramedics,) Alpha is both Fire and Medical. But it depends on the department.

Radio call signs consist of three parts: the shift number, the type of unit, and the district or permanent assigned number. For example, call sign 1A61 would be, first shift, one person unit, district 61 and 5M47 would be, outside agency, Monument Police Department, officer 47.

In addition, there are also radio call signs that consist of two parts. These are usually permanently assigned numbers for some specialized units, all supervisors, and all patrol section deputies involved in off duty situations. For example, the traffic unit and detectives only have two part call signs such as T6 and X5. Sergeants and above have permanent call signs such as S22 or L13 for use while on and off duty, and a patrol deputy has a permanent "paul number" such as P47 for use while not on shift.
