Empress EMS
Empress EMS is a private ambulance and emergency medical service provider. It offers pre- and post-hospital care, including 911 emergency response, advanced life support, basic life support, inter-facility transport, and specialized medical transport services. Empress EMS History
- Sloper-Willen EMS has served Southern Dutchess and Putnam Counties since 1958. In 2004, it was acquired by Alamo EMS.
- Alamo EMS was sold to TransCare EMS in 2009.
- TransCare EMS declared bankruptcy in 2016; Empress EMS acquired some parts of its operations and took over various operations and contracts that TransCare previously held following its collapse
- Empress EMS acquired EMStar EMS in June 2021
- Empress EMS acquired Mobile Life Support Services in June 2023
