  • No traffic was heard on their P25 system during a week long trip in June 2025. Rangers were seen communicating on BK P150’s with P25 audio physically heard. Original frequencies listed on this page are from the 2004 Wildfire Management Plan and could be outdated aside from the shift to P25 from FM. Not sure if frequencies have changed?
  • Rock Harbor NPS and Consessions staff all seen using small analog radios. P25 capable radios were only seen on backcountry rangers
