Norfolk Police: operates over Racom EDACS trunked radio system.

Police patrol areas are divided up into the following areas:

Norfolk Fire: Operates over a stand alone 800mhz repeater.

Norfolk Fire Division/Norfolk Rural Fire Dept., is a combination (paid/volunteer) fire department with 2 stations in the city.

Station 1- 701 Koenigstein Ave Covers City of Norfolk and rural areas east of 13th St.

Station 2- 2920 Benjamin Ave Covers City of Norfolk and rural areas west of 13th St.
