- 400 Units - EMS Supervisors
- 500 Units - EMS Administration
- 1000 Units - BLS
- 2000 Units - ALS
- 3000 Units - Rescue/Special Operations
Newark FIRE Signals
From Dispatch:
- Signal 5 = 1-Engine or 1-Truck
- Signal 8 = 1-Engine & 1-Truck + B-Chief
- Signal 9 = 2-Engine & 1-Truck + B-Chief
- Signal 10 = Full Box
- Signal 11 = 1 Alarm (4-Engines, 2-Trucks, Rescue, D-Chief, B-Chief)
From On-Scene Command:
- Signal 100 - Arson Non-Urgent (Arson responds at their leisure. Suppression Units need not remain on scene.
- Signal 101 - Arson Response (Arson responds when they can non-emergency but Suppression Units must remain on scene.)
- Signal 102 - Arson Urgent (Arson responds immediately with lights & sirens. Suppression Units remain on scene for the investigation)
- Signal 200 = DOA (at scene)
- Signal 300 = False Alarm
- Signal 305 = 1-Engine or 1-Truck
- Signal 308 = 1-Engine & 1-Truck + B-Chief
- Signal 309 = 2-Engine & 1-Truck + B-Chief (may also hold 2nd truck)
