Ohio MARCS IP: Multi-Agency Radio Communications Radio ID Logic
From The RadioReference Wiki
Radio ID Logic
Radio IDs on Ohio MARCS will have seven digits (the two digit county or agency number 01-99 and a five number ID unique to each radio), except in counties with numbers below 10. In these cases the radio ID will only be six digits as the leading zero of the county number is dropped.
County numbers are based on the number assigned by the State of Ohio to each county for administrative purposes (01-88) or an agency/type/function number (89-99).
XXYYYYY, where:
- XX = County Number (01-88) or Agency Designator (89-99)
- YYYYY = 5-digit number assigned at county level (xx00000-xx89999) or for use by Ohio MARCS (xx90000-xx99999)
