CWLP’s Electric T&D Division’s Communications Department operates and maintains an analog UHF radio system comprised of the following hardware.
Electric 1 – Motorola MTR3000 repeater – 100W amplifier
Electric 2 – Motorola MTR3000 repeater – 100W amplifier
Dallman 1 – Motorola MTR3000 repeater – 100W amplifier
Dallman 2 – Motorola XPR8300 repeater – 40W amplifier

Approximately 150 Motorola mobile radios and 150 Motorola portable radios of various models. Some will support the transition to digital and others will not. The total number of radios to be replaced has not yet been decided. Base your Total Pricing on 35 mobiles and 100 portables.

Five Motorola MC2500 Deskset Controllers.
A ‘quick call’ system that allows a Deskset Controller, via a 3 digit code, to alert a mobile radio and honk the vehicle’s horn. This feature is part of CWLP’s emergency response plan and must be maintained in some form. This system was last upgraded when the FCC required all operators to narrow band their systems. The current system has a couple of areas with less than ideal coverage. Coverage areas will be addressed in the next section.

are located here. This space will be used for the digital radio system.
