  • Accessible Transportation - Provides specialized service to students, faculty, staff and visitors who have a disability or a medical condition and need assistance getting around the Danforth Campus. Pre-authorization required.
  • Campus Circulator - Students, faculty, staff and visitors can use this to get around the Danforth Campus for free.
  • Campus2Home Shuttle - A safe ride home, 7 days a week, for those within the shuttle route boundaries.
  • DeBaliviere Place Shuttle - Serves the DeBaliviere neighborhood and Forest Park MetroLink Station with trips to/from the Danforth Campus.
  • Delmar Loop Shuttle - Extending into the Delmar Loop, this shuttle is available to students and staff with a WashU ID.
  • Delmar-DivINe Shuttle - Provides express service between the Danforth Campus, Delmar-DivINe, and Med School Campus.
  • Lewis Collaborative Shuttle - This shuttle provides service between the Danforth Campus and areas north of Delmar including Quadrangle housing, the Lewis Center and the Lofts.
  • Skinker-DeBaliviere Shuttle - Available to students and staff with WashU IDs who travel to and from the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood.
  • South Campus Shuttle - Provides service to students and staff with WashU IDs traveling to and from South Campus, the Wydown Skinker neighborhood and Clayton Rd.
  • West Campus Shuttle - Those who park at West Campus with a WashU ID can hitch a ride to campus.

Danforth Campus/Main Campus

Washington University Police Department (WUPD)

  • 24 hour local dispatcher in their Communications Center located on the Danforth Campus (6615 Shepley Drive, Clayton, MO 63105). Patrol Zones PDF
  • Dispatch uses CAD; monitors CCTV and Blue Light calls.
  • Dispatch monitors by listening to and comprehending several other radio frequencies such as Parking, Bear Patrol, and surrounding jurisdictions. WUPD also offers part-time opportunities to WashU students through its Bear Patrol program. They provide walking and golf cart escorts from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on campus; and wear distinctive vests and are equipped with radios to maintain constant contact with WUPD.
  • WUPD Officers are commissioned through St. Louis County Police Department, meeting state requirements for police certification. WUPD Officers are armed and possess the authority to make arrests and investigate criminal and non-criminal incidents. WUPD holds memberships with police associations at the county, state and national levels.
  • The Danforth Campus is geographically located in four different police jurisdictions. Although the primary jurisdiction is unincorporated St. Louis County, buildings are also located in St. Louis City, University City and Clayton.

Dispatch and Emergency Communications

  • Senior Manager - Senior leader in charge of the WUSM Protective Services dispatch communications center and will serve as part of the leadership team within WUSM Public Safety and Emergency Management (including operations and investigations).
