  • Boone Fire Department is dispatched/alerted on 155.1000 DPL 546, units utilized "TAC 1" 155.71500 NAC 079 for main operations
  • Town of Boone has their own communications center - Known as " Boone "
  • Watauga County has their own communications center - Known as " Watauga"
  • Town of Blowing Rock has their own communications center (during the day time only) - known as " Blowing rock", then transfers to Boone's Comm Center during the night
  • Seven Devils Public Safety Department has lately been heard on VIPER for their law enforcement activites, Fire department still utilizes Watauga County Fire channel
