Fire and Rescue
Lockport is served by the Lockport Township Fire Protection District. Fire and Rescue is dispatched by WESCOM on their "911 North" system at 154.8525 along with several neighboring districts. Additional neighboring districts have this frequency in their radio.
Lockport, Lockport Township Park Police, and Crest Hill share dispatch provided through WESCOM. It is currently found on the Will County Public Service P25 "River System" using talkgroup 2201. WESCOM, along with Lockport, Crest Hill, and other communities have announced they will be moving to Starcom 21 in 2017. Lockport police units use 500s, Crest Hill are 100s, Township Park Police are 600s.
City of Lockport LTR
Lockport uses a LTR system for city services data and for the street department and police "channel 6" car to car traffic.
Other Frequencies and Uses
155.1150 is used for city services data. Twice daily several bursts of data are heard, currently using CTCSS tone of 154.1. This frequency also features police and city hall traffic using CTCSS tone of 123.0. Although it's a repeater as of December 2016 it appears traffic is using simplex.
Lockport Township High School
The High School uses LTR equipment but as conventional radios. There is only one input and one output repeater located at each campus. East campus is heard at 152.42750 and Central campus at 152.99000. Buses and transportation use their own repeater at 152.92250
