The Topeka / Shawnee County 800 MHz TRS is jointly operated by Shawnee County and the Kansas Department of Transportation.
State agencies on the system are migrating to the state 800 MHz P-25 system. Shawnee County recently approved the purchase of a 6-site simulcast P25 system. Construction is expected over the next 2 years.
