9/08 --- 158.205 appears to be completely abandoned at this time.  All 911 operations are on the 154.7475 narrowband repeater/remote towers.
 +
(Reported that: the reason the dispatch channel was changed was because 158.205 frequency was causing interference with another service. 911 Channel 2 became the Dispatch channel and at a future date a new channel frequency will be issued by the FCC which will become 911 Channel 2

Macoupin County - Information

Macoupin County is one of the largest counties, by area, in the state of Illinois. It also comprises 2 area codes and is perhaps the only county in the United States that has 3 or more LATAs (Telephone Exchange Bounderies). The Enhanced 911 system in the county took over 10 years to get online.

Mac911 ESN - Emergency Service Number - Provider Coverage

Information for the numbers will come soon. ESN Numbers ESN Map

9/08 --- 158.205 appears to be completely abandoned at this time. All 911 operations are on the 154.7475 narrowband repeater/remote towers. (Reported that: the reason the dispatch channel was changed was because 158.205 frequency was causing interference with another service. 911 Channel 2 became the Dispatch channel and at a future date a new channel frequency will be issued by the FCC which will become 911 Channel 2

Carlinville Tower (911/Sheriff/Local Government/Highway Department repeaters) The repeater has very good coverage (including portables), with remote receive & transmitter sites, into all surrounding counties and into the city of Springfield. This repeater system is a voting system, you may hear multiple responses (on the 46x MHz links) from mobiles on the receiving towers back to the 911 tower to be voted on to go out on 154.7475R.

Paging is done from the repeater site or one of the remote towers nearest the agency they are paging.: D131 Carlinville Fire, Dunns Ambulance [on repeater, not link] D155 PALMYRA - Northwestern Ambulance, Fire & Rescue [on 465.525} D754 BRIGHTON - Brighton Fire [on 458.7875 to 155.715 D703] D???
