Banff National Park comprises a large portion of the southwest edge of the province of Alberta. It is bordered by Kananaskis Country to the south; the Columbia-Shushwap region of British Columbia (including Yoho National Park) to the west; Jasper National Park and Clearwater County to the north; and the Municipal District of Bighorn to the east.
