- CPD unit numbers
- K-xx, i.e. K-20 and K-30 are K-9 units, they only have two right now
- C-xx, i.e. C-59, C-61 are CSAs 'Community Service Aids' for non injury accidents, traffic control, parking violations and such.
- SR-x i.e. SR-3, SR-52 assigned to Columbia Public Schools 1xx, i.e. 105, 136, 165 are first shift officers 2xx, i.e. 226, 231, 295 are second shift officers 3xx, i.e. 316, 336, 347 are third shift officers
- The last two digits of 100's, 200's, and 300's correspond to the Community Policing-City of Columbia Beat Map
- CODE-7 just means that CPD officer is out for lunch
- 10-15 subject in custody in route to police or sheriff department
