Montgomery County, Ohio
Montgomery County, Ohio is located in southwestern Ohio. The county seat is the City of Dayton. It is the fourth most populated county in Ohio and it is a part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is named in honor of American Revolutionary War General Richard Montgomery.

Huber Heights Police Patrol Units
On March 1, 2008, HHPD changed their unit number system to align more with the Montgomery County Unit Number System even though HHPD has no intention of joining the countywide dispatch. The new numbers are as follows: Night Watch: Huber 110 - Supervisor (Sgt.) Huber 111, 112, 113, 114, 115 - Patrol Officers Day Watch Huber 210 - Supervisor (Sgt.) Huber 211, 212, 213, 214, 215 - Patrol Officers Evening Watch Huber 310 - Supervisor (Sgt.) Huber 311, 312, 313, 314, 315 - Patrol Officers Relief Watch (swing shift) Huber 410 - Supervisor (Sgt.) New Montgomery County Sheriff Unit Number System 1. Each community/agency uses its name before the unit number. Example: Brookville 110 is Brookville PD, Midnight Watch, Supervisor. The community/agency names used are as follows: Brookville = Brookville PD Butler = Butler Twp. PD Clayton = Clayton PD Clay Twp. = Clay Twp. PD County = MCSO Patrol Services & Investigative Services Divisions Court = MCSO Court Services Division Germantown = Germantown PD German Twp. = German Twp. PD Harrison = MCSO Harrison Twp. Contract Patrol Jackson = Jackson Twp. PD Jail = MCSO Jail Services Division Jefferson = MCSO Jefferson Twp. Ohio State Highway Patrol
Montgomery County is served by OSP Post 57 Dayton, located at 400 Smith Drive, Clayton, Ohio. This post was consolidated with former Post 68 Eaton in 2005. In addition to Montgomery County, Post 57 patrols all of Darke and Preble counties. All communications use the Ohio MARCS statewide system.
