Reedy Creek Improvement District EMS Unit Information
EMS Unit Information:
Ambulance Units are transport units located at one of the 4 stations. Sometimes IDed on the air simply as A and then the number (ex. A32). Medic Units are mobile Medical Assistance Response Carts (MARCs) located inside all of the theme parks and Downtown Disney. The MARC units (modified golf cart design) are only active during normal park operating hours. During other times a corresponding Ambulance or other station unit would be dispatched as the first responding unit. Also of note is that all Reedy Creek Engine Companies are also designated as medical first response units and may be dispatched solo to medical calls until the need for transportation is determined.
