This major theme park is located in Genesee County and is easily
found from Exit 48A of the New York State Thruway. Only three radio codes
have been heard in use by park units.

10-4   Acknowledge
10-76 Responding with lights & sirens
Code 12 All OK (used in reference to rides and attractions)

Radio units identify using a letter prefix and one- or two-digit numbers.

O = Operations
E = Entertainment
M = Medical
S = Security

Medical coverage for the park is provided by park staff who respond
to medical emergencies on foot, using scooters or aboard the Darien
Lake Fun Country ambulance (M-12). When a visitor needs transportation
to a hospital, Genesee Memorial Hospital Ambulance is dispatched from Batavia.

Fire emergencies are covered by the Darien Fire Department. Situations
that require police services can be handled by the Genesee County
Sheriff's Department or by New York State Police Troop A.

Six Flags announced in 2006 that they intend to sell this park, and
they did so in 2007 - back to the original owner!
