Overview

FRNSW is the NSW government agency responsible for managing fire emergencies in the major cities, metropolitan areas and towns across rural and regional NSW. Under the Fire Brigades Act 1989 FRNSW also protect the State from hazardous material incidents and by extension of this capability, the consequences of terrorism.
