  • 2009 Crimson Emergency-One 1000 GPM Pumper Article
    • Stationed primarily at Station No. 2, which is closest to the commercial district.
    • Has a complex multiplex wiring system, top control pump panel, 10.0 kw generator, a 10-gallon foam tank and a hydraulic rack with a ladder that extends to 35 feet. Another unique aspect is a light tower which extends 15 feet above the top of the truck with a bank of six extremely bright lights capable of illuminating an enormous area.
    • Headphones hanging from the ceiling enable each firefighter to hear emergency communications during transit with clarity, while a unique infrared heat gun used to find hot spots in burning structures is fastened prominently between front and back seats.
    • Compartments along the sides and back of the rescue truck house ventilation fans, a cutter and a spreader which make up the jaws-of-life tool (which extends to 100 feet), air bags, a variety of smaller tools, EMS equipment, fire extinguishers, portable lights, extra air bottles for breathing apparatuses, salvage tarps and a portable electric line.
  • 1993 Cummins Diesel Emergency One pumper with a 1,000 gallon tank and 1,000 GPM pumping capacity.
