American Base will page a car using inhouse paging and alpha page to sign on the air.  When a car is available on portable (meal or an assignment) they will also be paged via two-tone radio alert.

Upon signing on, the car will be given the call in this order: (1) Source Code (2)Response Priority (3) Location (if a facility, the facility code is used), (4) Nature of call, (5) Pertinent details.  The crew will read this back and be marked en route.  Upon arrival at the scene, the ambulance will announce "Signal O the 111" and give updates as needed.
