Springfield Air National Guard Base (KSGH) is a base for the Ohio Air National Guard at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport in Clark County, Ohio. The base is located 6 miles south of the central business district of Springfield, and it is now owned and operated by the City of Springfield It covers 1,516 acres and has two runways; 6/24 and 15/33. The Air National Guard base is intact and expanding to the land across the state highway. For base security reasons, the state route will be relocated north of the construction area and the base will take over the old state highway. A similar project is underway at nearby WPAFB to relocate SR 444.

Mission
The 178th Fighter Wing previously flew The F-16 Fighting Falcon Block C/D aircraft. In accordance with the Department of Defense's 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Committee, all of its aircraft have been allocated to other units within the United States Air Force. The 178th is being reassigned as the 178th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing and their new primary mission will be the operations of the MQ-1 Predator drone aircraft.
