Springfield Air National Guard Base (KSGH) is a base for the Ohio Air National Guard at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport in Clark County, Ohio. The base is located 6 miles south of the central business district of Springfield. It covers 1,516 acres and has two runways; 6/24 and 15/33.

Mission

The 178th Fighter Wing previously flew The F-16 Fighting Falcon Block C/D aircraft. In accordance with the Department of Defense's 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Committee, all of its aircraft have been allocated to other units within the United States Air Force. The 178th is being reassigned as the 178th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing and their new primary mission will be the operations of the MQ-1 Predator drone aircraft.
